1895	February	Masujiro Takada established a household medicine company in Yodobashi Ward (now Shinjuku-ku) in Tokyo.
1928	November	Company incorporated as Takata Seiyaku Co., Ltd. with capital of 100,000 yen. Genbei Takada appointed Representative Director and President.
1945	September	Relocated headquarters to 1-71 Terajima-cho, Mukojima-ku (now Higashimukojima, Sumida-ku) in Tokyo.
1954	December	Kiichi Sekine appointed Representative Director and President.
1960	September	Inosuke Takada appointed Representative Director and President.
1964	February	Constructed Omiya Plant at 3-37, Onari-cho, Omiya City, Saitama.
1973	January	Formed marketing alliance with Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd.
1975	December	Formed marketing alliance with Shionogi & Co., Ltd.
1977	July	Relocated Omiya Plant (GMP-certified plant) to 203-1, Miyamae-cho, Omiya City, Saitama.
1978	April May	Formed marketing alliance with Maruho Co., Ltd. Began sales of Telgin G Dry Syrup (Maruho).
1980	July October November	Relocated headquarters to 13-10, 2-chome, Torigoe, Taito-ku, Tokyo. Formed marketing alliance with Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd. Began manufacturing Yakult Toughman health drink.
1981	April September	Completed construction of Omiya Plant Building 2. Formed marketing alliance with Asahi Kasei Corporation.
1982	September	Constructed Omiya Administration Building.
1983	November	Constructed Bessho dormitory (training center).
1985	June	Shigeki Takada appointed Representative Director and President.
1987	Septembe Novemberr	Constructed Omiya R&D facility and quality control building. Formed marketing alliance with Schering-Plough K.K.
1990	March	Completed construction of Omiya Plant Building 3.
1992	June	Began sales of Emaberin L capsules (Shionogi).
1994	January September	Constructed Satte Laboratory. Began sales of Tandetron (KAYAKU).
1995	February July	Established Sendai Office. Began sales of Pulsmarin A dry syrup.
1996	February	Completed construction of Omiya Plant Building 4.
1999	July	Began sales of Olives intravenous drip.
2002	February July September	Completed construction of Omiya Plant II. Established Sapporo Office. Formed marketing alliance with Wakodo Co., Ltd.
2005	August	Acquired land for new injection factory (Kita Saitama Plant) .
2006	March April	Established Okayama Office. Increased capital to 776.84 million yen.
2007	March April November	Completed construction of Kita Saitama Plant. Increased capital to 1088.84 million yen. Completed extension of Satte Plant.
2010	December	Shigeki Takada appointed Chairman of the Board and Representatire Director. Hiroki Takada appointed Representative Director and President.
