In order to provide "High Quality" products that contribute toward health---as advocated in our business philosophy---we shall abide by the following items.

Certification Mark
The logo mark displayed on all of our pharmaceutivcals products is not merely a brand mark, but always fulfills a function as our symbol of quality assurance.
At Takata Seiyaku, our goal is to supply products that are trusted by our stakeholders and incorporate our unique concepts and sense of values.
At the same time, the certification mark demonstrates our standing in our communities, and our commitment to our products as the manufacturer, while expressing our reliability and empathy.
Environmental Policy
We shall strictly abide by laws and ordinances, regulations and societal norms and act as good corporate citizens. We shall cherish and value our finite resources and strive to save energy and resources and reduce waste matters.
We shall have our employees thoroughly inform themselves of our environmental policy, set specific action plans, evaluate and review the results on a continuous basis.
Origin of our Company logo (Cherry blossom mark)
Among the rosaceous cherry trees of the genus Prunus, which grow naturally across the broad temperate regions of the northern hemisphere, cherry blossoms are renowned for their beautiful flowers.
Unlike cherry trees used to grow fruit in Europe, China and other parts of the world, the “Japanese cherry” in particular has come to be appreciated as an indigenous species prized for its flowers. The cherry blossom is treasured as emblematic of the joys and sorrows of life, through recitation of such classic Japanese texts as the Manyoshu and Kokinshu.
This sense of fleeting beauty as “the heart of every human being” has continued unbroken for more than 1,000 years, and even today, cherry blossoms are beloved by countless individuals.
Takata Seiyaku views this characteristic of cherry blossoms as symbolic of the Company’s goal to value every human heart, and has chosen the “cherry blossom mark” for its company logo. Our wish is to create valued products relied upon by every individual, and we express our Company’s five creeds through the cherry blossom’s five petals.

As a research-oriented company, Takata Seiyaku Co., Ltd. will contribute to people’s health by constantly striving to enhance technology, develop creative products and supply high quality products in an appropriate manner, while securing the trust of society and promote business in pursuit of corporate growth, the happiness of employees and for the mutual prosperity of stakeholders.
In order to achieve these goals, we will abide by laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to our business and abide by the spirit of the aforementioned, and observe corporate regulations while respecting human rights and acting with a high sense of ethical standards and social common sense.
As a Pharmaceutical Corporation
- 1. In order to accomplish our mission, we shall commit ourselves in developing and producing high quality, effective and safe medical products and supplying them to sites providing medical treatment in a stable manner.
- 2. Clinical trial shall be carried out with the cooperation of medical institutions and with scientific strictness while respecting the rights of test subjects and taking all safety precautions.
- 3. In order to assure the proper use of medical drugs, we will provide information pertaining to quality; safety and effectiveness accurately and speedily collect, analyze and evaluate the safety information following the commercial releasing of the drugs.
- 4. Through fair and free competition, we shall conduct ourselves properly in the transaction and distribution of medical products. We shall also maintain wholesome and sound relationship with people in the medical profession, politics and government administration.
As a Corporate Citizen
- 5. It is the task of the entire mankind to take on environmental problems including the preventing of global warming, and we shall voluntarily and aggressively act accordingly, being cognizant of the fact that engaging in such activities are essential for the activity and survival of a corporation.
- 6. As a good corporate citizen we shall aggressively participate in activities to contribute toward society.
- 7. We shall resolutely confront any antisocial force or organization that threatens the safety and order of a civil society.

- 8. We shall maintain communication widely throughout our communities, and take a positive manner in fairly disclosing our corporation information. We shall also thoroughly protect and manage various information, including those on individuals and customers.
- 9. While respecting the diversity, character and personality of employees, we shall realize a rich working environment that is safe and satisfying.
- 10. Personnel in top management shall be cognizant of the fact that they must play a role in realizing the spirit of this charter, and take the initiative in encouraging employees to thoroughly inform themselves of the charter and corporate ethics and prepare the corporate structure to make the company an effective one.
- 11. In the event a situation should arise that counters the spirit of this charter, top management personnel shall take on the task of solving the problem and make efforts to determine its cause and prevent its recurrence. Also, they shall carry out their responsibilities to speedily and accurately divulge the information to society, and take disciplinary actions, even including oneself, after clarifying one's authority and responsibility.
